image: Korey500.jpg ** created in Photoshop ** background image is enlarged and rotated, a neon glow filter is added foreground images use a texturizer (burlap) and a smudge stick effect (intensity set to 5). final touch is a Harlow Solid Italic font with a black shadow , opacity is set to 20% to blend with the background image.

image: Kalli500.jpg ** created in Photoshop ** the original image was transformed into black & white with a mask over the eyes to preserve the blue. a poster edges effect was added and different colors were added to each side with the spray paint tool. a Papyrus font keeps the "rough cut" appearance.

image: Alysha500.jpg ** created in Photoshop ** original image is juxtaposed and aligned with image in black & white, image in negative and image with red enhanced and blue and green diminished slightly. final touch is an Occidental font with a light grey backdrop set to 50% opacity.

image: OrientalRed500.jpg ** created in Photoshop ** a variation on the theme. using select color range the red in the image is highlighted. a layer is added in front with an opaque red to complete the effect.

image: OrientalBlue500.jpg ** created in Photoshop ** a variation on the theme. the layer in front is changed to a light blue and the original image is desaturated. the brightness is brought down and overall it creates a very nice texture.

image: PixDoor3.jpg ** Enhanced in Photoshop ** a simple reflection photo. the glass from the door is reflecting the front yard, but the sun is glowing through in some very unfortunate ways. using the patch tool the glow is removed from behind the trees and from the brass in the window.

image: PixLeaves.jpg ** Enhanced in Photoshop ** this picture was taken to show off autumn colors on a local oak tree. the sun glaring in the background spoiled the colors. the white glare was selected and deleted. a layer behind is a sky blue shade. the edges were feathered to remove any hard lines. the fall colors become more enjoyable.

image:ColumnPiece.gif ** created in Illustrator ** the red background has several gradients placed within it, then the white paths and red paths are added using the BLEND tool.

image:Burger.gif ** produced in Illustrator ** a whimsical piece that uses the simple drawing tools and layers that Illustrator offers. the original is a vector image, so it will retain the same quality regardless of how large or small the application that it might be used in.

image: grad500.gif ** produced in Illustrator ** this is a replication of a photograph which has been turned into a vector image and then saved as a web-friendly gif file. the colors were sampled from the original photograph.
